There’s a rhythm in what I make, shaped as much by music as by my hands. I work clay “casually-aggressive”, often leaving visible and tactile evidence on the surfaces of my pieces. I’m interested in the tension between control and release, refinement and disruption, and being able to hear the music in my work.
